Wayne Rooney and Manchester United have had a strong season in 2015-2016 but are still looking for stable options at striker. The English captain Rooney has limped behind French teenager Anthony Martial at striker, opening a need for more offensive firepower for the English Premier League's third ranked side. On top of the fact that Rooney has seen his statistics drop, he has been in the news more for former teammate Anders Lindegaard crudely commenting on Twitter when Rooney said that Lindegaard is a boring person.
