The teams for Copa America Centenario are set, and now we have an official draw date. The teams will be drawn on Sunday, February 21, at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. The draw will take place at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, and will be televised live on Univision.

Fans will be allowed to attend the event, but ticket information has not yet been released.

Staged outside of South America for the first time, Copa America will be in the United States starting June 3rd. The tournament will take place in stadiums throughout the United States, culminating in the finals June 26th at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Argentina, Brazil, United States and Mexico have been pre-seeded as the four group leaders in the tournament. The draw will place the other 12 teams, which include 2015 hosts and champions Chile. The tournament is comprised of six teams from CONCACAF and all 10 teams from CONMEBOL.

For USMNT, it’s a huge tournament for their development. It’s also big for manager Jurgen Klinsmann, who has disappointed in his role post-2014 World Cup.
