San Antonio Spurs vs. Golden State Warriors: Odds, Point Spread & Line

(Getty)

Tonight, one of the premier matchups of the entire NBA regular season takes place, between the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the Western Conference. Incidentally, they are also the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the entire NBA. Sorry, LeBron.

The San Antonio Spurs, a perennial powerhouse, visit the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena in a Monday night showdown. It’s more than just a run-of-the-mill NBA regular-season game. Each team has a legitimate chance to challenge the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls all-time best 72-10 regular-season mark. The Spurs (38-6) are riding a 13-game winning streak, while the Warriors (40-4) have 38-game regular-season winning streak at home.

Nevermind the fact that Spurs stalwart power forward Tim Duncan will sit the game out with knee soreness. This will be a primetime matchup (tip-off 10:30 p.m. ET on NBATV) for the ages. Check out the odds, point spread and line, courtesy of OddsShark.com, below:

The point spread opened at Warriors (-3), before shifting to the (-5) line it did today, due partially to the Duncan news.
