Heading into Sunday’s NFL conference championship games just four teams remain in the race for the Super Bowl. In the AFC, the New England Patriots take on the Denver Broncos. The Arizona Cardinals square off with the Carolina Panthers in the NFC.
The winner of each game will head to Santa Clara, California for Super Bowl 50. The big game will be on Sunday, February 7th at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
The game will kick off from Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers. Coldplay will be the headline act for the halftime show.
The marquee matchup for today’s slate of games is the Patriots and Broncos. The game features legendary quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Tom Brady facing off for the 17th time. Brady has an 11-5 edge in the series.
The Panthers host the Cardinals in the late game. Carolina has only lost one game this season and will attempt to make the Super Bowl for the first time since they lost to the Patriots in 2004.
Arizona will look to make it to their first Super Bowl since 2009. Neither the Panthers or the Cardinals have ever won a Super Bowl.
