North Carolina and Notre Dame have split two head-to-head meetings this year, but the Tar Heels are significant favorites for the rubber match in Philadelphia.
Perhaps it’s because they crushed the Irish by 31 in the ACC tournament a couple weeks back. Or maybe it’s because they’re coming off a dominant 101-86 victory over Big Ten champs Indiana in the Sweet 16.
Either reason, the Heels are widely expected to cut down the nets at the Wells Fargo Center on Sunday night. Nevertheless, Notre Dame is talented, experienced and has shown an unbreakable will this tournament. This is far from a guarantee.
Tip-off is scheduled for 8:49 p.m. ET on TBS (Full Elite 8 Schedule). Here’s a look at all the betting info, courtesy of OddsShark:
UNC vs. Notre Dame Betting Information
Spread: UNC (-10)

Betting Trends: The Heels have won 10 of their last 11 games, and during that stretch they are 8-3 against the spread. However, as double-digit favorites this year, Roy Williams’ squad is just 6-12-1 against the spread.
The Irish are 4-2 against the spread in their last six games. As underdogs, they are 4-4 both straight up and against the spread. They were three-point ‘dogs in their win against UNC in South Bend in early February, and they were seven-point ‘dogs during the Heels’ 31-point drubbing on March 11.
