Manchester City vs. Paris Saint-Germain: Time, Channel & Lineup

(Getty)

If Manchester City want to advance to their first-ever Champions League semifinal, they’ll do so without their captain. Vincent Kompany has been ruled out of the second leg against Paris Saint-Germain, putting a huge hole in City’s back line. The Belgian has been dealing with a calf injury since the last round of Champions League, but his presence will be missed tonight against a skilled PSG attack.

City have only lost three times with Kompany in the lineup this season, and his backup is not fully fit. Nicolas Otamendi is dealing with an ankle injury, and he represents a big step back in terms of quality in the middle. David Silva was rested over the weekend, and will need to play well for City without Raheem Sterling available. PSG doesn’t have the same injury woes, but Blaise Matuidi and David Luiz are both suspended for today’s match.
