Real Madrid vs. Manchester City: Time, Channel & Lineup

Manchester City have made it farther than ever before in European competition, and today Eithad Stadium will host a Champions League semifinal. City, who will have captain Vincent Kompany back in the lineup, advanced past PSG in the previous round, and now face the mighty Real Madrid. Zinedine Zidane has turned around the club’s season, and has the squad back in contention for the Spanish title after a miserable start to the season.

City are coming off a 4-0 win over Stoke, but don’t have much else to brag about heading into today’s match. They are struggling to stay totally healthy at the end of a busy season, and today they will be without Yaya Toure in the midfield. His absence means City will need an even stronger presence from Kevin De Bruyne, who has been outstanding since returning from a knee injury.

Ronaldo sat out his team’s previous fixture after pulling up lame against Villarreal, and CR7 was expected to return for today’s match, but he is unavailable today. Ronaldo is the top scorer in Champions League this season, and has scored or assisted in 20 of Madrid’s 26 goals in the competition.
