Even the Greatest of All Time can’t get into Augusta National without being stopped by security.
Jack Nicklaus, the 6-time Masters champion, was trying to get the annual Champions Dinner on Tuesday night at the course when he was stopped by Augusta National security while driving down the famous Magnolia Lane.

OK, so it’s not exactly blaring sirens and a “license and registration” type of moment.
But it is rather entertaining to see the man who has the most Masters wins — and total majors, for that matter — in history have a back-and-forth with an officer of the law on whether he needed to have his badge scanned prior to entering the grounds.
The officer didn’t recognize Nicklaus right away, but did apologize once he figured it out. It’s OK, he was just doing his job.
No harm, no foul.
