Nathan’s record for hot dogs and buns eaten in ten minutes was broken today by Joey Chestnut, who downed 70. The previous record was 69 from Chestnut's 2013 performance. 45 is the women’s record for hot dogs eaten in ten minutes, set in 2012 by three-time champ Sonya Thomas. (Getty)
