The women’s competition took place this morning and, was another highly-contested battle between Miki Sudo and Sonya Thomas. Sudo defended her 2015 title, eating 38.5 hot dogs before time ran out. It marked Sudo's third consecutive win, who is the World No. 3 competitive eater in Major League Eating. Thomas finished with 35. (Getty)
