Elizabeth Beisel's Mom, Joan Beisel

Elizabeth's parents met in a bar in New York and have been inseparable ever since. Joan was born in Rhode Island and Ted was born in Green Bay. Elizabeth told SwimSwam that she started out in diving, but she was so bad that her mom Joan suggested: "Maybe the swim team will work out better for you."
