When is the NASCAR Richmond Race? What TV Channel is it on?

One race to go, three Chase spots still open.

When the Federated Auto Parts 400 finishes up Saturday night at Richmond International Raceway, the 16-car Chase for the Cup grid will be set.

Currently 13 of the 16 slots have been filled with 25 of 26 regular season races complete. As of now, the last 3 spots are held by Chase Elliott (+24 points from cut-off), Austin Dillon (+16) and Jamie McMurray (+7), but nothing is set until the checkered flag waves at RIR.

Saturday night’s race is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Eastern (approximately 7:43 p.m. ET green flag) and will be televised by NBC Sports Network (NBCSN).

The 10-race Chase for the Cup schedule begins next Sunday, September 18, with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 at Chicagoland Speedway.
