On the brink of elimination, the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Cleveland Indians 5-1 in Game 4 of the American League Championship League Series.
The Blue Jays survived thanks to a solid start from Aaron Sanchez, and situational hitting.
Marco Estrada will take the mound in Game 5 for the Jays. His postseason record is 1-1 with a 1.65 playoff ERA.
Rookie lefty Ryan Merritt will start for the Cleveland Indians. Merritt is making his second big league start. The 24-year-old had a 3.70 ERA in 24 starts and 143 1/3 innings in Triple-A this season before being called up to the big leagues.
