Week 6 offered fans two marquee matchups featuring teams that have been highly ranked in Heavy's power rankings. The Seahawks hosted the Falcons while the Cowboys took on the Packers at Lambeau Field. After a furious comeback by Atlanta, Seattle was able to make a few key plays down the stretch to hang onto the win. Dallas dominated Green Bay at home from start to finish. The Cowboys head into their bye week on a high note and in first place in the NFC East. Speaking of byes, the Vikings, the only undefeated team in the league, had the week off as they prepare to go on the road the next two weeks. In New England, Tom Brady looks like he is ready for the playoffs to start and is playing even better than many expected coming off the suspension. This week, two new teams riding hot streaks break into the rankings. It is important to remember that Heavy's power rankings consider the entire season and not just the week that has happened. It is not a projection into the future but where teams stand today. Click the arrow on the right side of the above image to see Heavy's Week 6 NFL power rankings. (Getty)

No. 10 Green Bay Packers
Record: 3-2
Last Week's Ranking: 7th
Last Game: Lost 30-16 to Cowboys
Outlook: Green Bay just barely remains in the top ten after losing decisively to the Cowboys. It has been an up and down start to the season for the Packers. They have a short turnaround time this week as they host the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football. Minnesota is now the team of the NFC North, but if the Packers are not able to turn things around they will be in danger of missing the playoffs entirely. (Getty)

No. 9 Washington Redskins
Record: 4-2
Last Week's Ranking: Not Ranked
Last Game: Won 27-20 Over Eagles
Outlook: Washington has won four straight games after a slow start. They got a big win on Sunday over an Eagles team that has been playing well. Washington has two road games against the Lions and Bengals before heading into the bye week. They sit just one game back from the Cowboys for the NFC East lead. (Getty)

No. 8 Buffalo Bills
Record: 4-2
Last Week's Ranking: Not Ranked
Last Game: Won 45-16 Over 49ers
Outlook: After dropping their first two games, the Bills have won four straight proving the demands for Rex Ryan to be fired were a bit premature. Buffalo routed San Francisco and is utilizing one of the best rushing attacks in the league. LeSean McCoy rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns in their win over the 49ers. The Bills will head to Miami to take on the Dolphins. (Getty)

No. 7 Pittsburgh Steelers
Record: 4-2
Last Week's Ranking: 3rd
Last Game: Lost 30-15 to Dolphins
Outlook: It was a disappointing week for the Steelers who were dominated by a bad Dolphins team. Things got worse as Pittsburgh fans received news that Ben Roethlisberger has a torn meniscus. No timetable has been announced for his return, but Landry Jones will be the man behind center until Big Ben can return. They have a marquee matchup this week as the Patriots come to town. (Getty)

No. 6 Denver Broncos
Record: 4-2
Last Week's Ranking: 3rd
Last Game: Lost 21-13 to Chargers
Outlook: After starting out 4-0, the Broncos have lost two straight games. Losing to the Chargers was surprising given San Diego has struggled this season. For the most part, Denver has won in spite of their offense. Over the last two games, an argument can be made that the Broncos lost because of their offense. (Getty)

No. 5 Atlanta Falcons
Record: 4-2
Last Week's Ranking: 4th
Last Game: Lost 26-24 to Seahawks
Outlook: After a slow start, the Falcons mounted a second half comeback but fell short. The offense started to click in the second half as Matt Ryan connected often with Julio Jones. Atlanta came up a few plays short at the end, but it was a nice showing in a hostile environment. The Falcons head back home to take on the Chargers. (Getty)

No. 4 Dallas Cowboys
Record: 5-1
Last Week's Ranking: 7th
Last Game: Won 30-16 Over Packers
Outlook: Dallas is on a five-8 game winning streak led by rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. The Cowboys not only played well at Lambeau Field but dominated the Packers. Much has been made about the rookie phenoms on offense, but the Dallas defense has quietly been performing well after years of being the team's Achilles' heel. The Cowboys have a bye week before hosting the Eagles. (Getty)

No. 3 Seattle Seahawks
Record: 4-1
Last Week's Ranking: 4th
Last Game: Won 26-24 Over Falcons
Outlook: It was not the prettiest win for Seattle, but it counts just the same. The Seahawks jumped out to an early lead, before allowing the Falcons back in the game in the second half. Seattle made enough key plays down the stretch to hold on to the win. Russell Wilson still lacks the explosiveness he normally has in the pocket, but the Seahawks offense has managed to find enough success to keep winning. (Getty)

No. 2 New England Patriots
Record: 5-1
Last Week's Ranking: 2nd
Last Game: Won 35-17 Over Bengals
Outlook: The Patriots took a 10-7 lead at halftime and turned it into a route of the Bengals. Tom Brady was an absolute stud again going 29-of-35 for 376 yards and three touchdowns. The Patriots enter a challenging slate of games with four of their next five games on the road in addition to a bye week. The next two games offer tests at Buffalo and Pittsburgh against two playoff-caliber teams. (Getty)

No. 1 Minnesota Vikings
Record: 5-0
Last Week's Ranking: 1st
Last Game: Bye
Outlook: The Vikings headed into their bye week a perfect 5-0. Minnesota will be tested during their next stretch of games with three of their next four games on the road. The Vikings have relied on a suffocating defense and an underrated offense. If the offense can see a slight uptick in production, it will be bad news for the rest of the league with how good this defense is playing.(Getty)
