Arsenal hope to continue their strong start to Champions League group play when they host Ludogorets.
They defeated the Bulgarian club 6-0 two weeks prior, and have a chance to finish the day in sole possession of first place in Group A. Aresnal is currently tied with Paris Saint-Germain for that slot, but lead on goal differential after the blowout. PSG will take on Basel tomorrow.
Arsenal haven’t lost a match since August, and are tied with City and Liverpool atop the Premier League table.
But the month has changed, and so do, historically, Arsenal’s fortunes. The club average 1.59 points per match under Arsene Wenger, a much lower total then any other month of the season. Wenger has led the club into 78 career fixtures in November, and they’ve won just 36.
The Gunners will likely be resting their top talent, as Theo Walcott, Santi Cazorla, Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin are all out.
