The NBA schedule makers did the Toronto Raptors no favors when putting together their schedule. One night after facing the Cavaliers in Cleveland, Toronto’s back in action as they host the Golden State Warriors. That’s one of 11 games on the NBA schedule for Wednesday, and it’s part of a doubleheader to be shown on ESPN with the Clippers hosting the Grizzlies in the nightcap.
Toronto lost to Cleveland 121-117 Tuesday night, the second time this season that they’ve lost to Cleveland. DeMar DeRozan, the NBA’s leading scorer, scored 26 points and his average of 33.2 points per game is the fifth-highest through the first ten games of a season in NBA history. He and Kyle Lowry now face the Warriors’ loaded perimeter rotation led by Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, and with Klay Thompson shooting the ball better of late Steve Kerr’s team is approaching the level of play many expected of Golden State from the start of the season.
Also of note Wednesday is Cleveland visiting Indiana, the Hawks hosting Milwaukee and San Antonio heading west to face the Kings for the second time this season. Below are the game times and television listings for Wednesday’s NBA schedule, and all times are Eastern.
