Premier League Table: BPL Standings After Wednesday’s Action

With all 20 teams playing some weekday action, it’s a good time to take a look at the current standings.

After Manchester City’s hot start, Guardiola’s squad have cooled off and fallen to fourth. This year will be defined by the new reign of high-priced managers, and while Guardiola’s impact may have been immediate, it’s the changes at Chelsea that have been the most productive.

Antonio Conte had turned up the defense at Stamford Bridge, and it’s put the Blues back on top of England. Chelsea have conceded four times at home all season, and have the best goal differential in the league.

Defensively, the only team that has compared is Tottenham. Harry Kane has scored in three straight home fixtures for Spurs, and it’s helped them climb to only ten points behind Chelsea.

After upsetting Manchester City over the weekend, title holders Leicester resumed their disappointing form in a Tuesday loss to Bournemouth.
