FanDuel NBA Lineup Picks, Advice & Analysis for January 16

With Monday being Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the NBA schedule includes multiple afternoon games. There are a total of nine games on the schedule, but for the sake of this post only the four "late" games are being considered. Among those games is the second meeting of the season between Cleveland and Golden State, with the Cavaliers coming from behind to beat the Warriors on Christmas Day in the first game. Among the standouts on that day was Cleveland guard Kyrie Irving, who tallied 59.2 FanDuel points thanks in large part to a highly productive fourth quarter.

Irving finished the game with 25 points, ten assists, seven steals and six rebounds, turning the ball over just two times against one of the NBA's best defensive teams (Golden State is ranked second in defensive rating). Irving's been in a bit of a slump however, as he's made just 38.2 percent of his field goal attempts over the last five games. Irving is averaging 23.2 points per contest during this stretch, but the lowered efficiency has impacted his FanDuel scores. Averaging 36.5 points per game, Irving's fallen below that mark in four of his last five games. That will be something to keep an eye on Monday night against the Warriors.

Here are our FanDuel picks for Monday's games, working with a nine-player roster and a $60,000 salary cap. Statistics used are from Basketball Reference and Rotowire. (Getty)
