Dolphins vs. Steelers: Playoff Date, Time & TV Info

The Steelers get a chance to revisit one of their worst performances of the season, only this time it’ll be on their turf.

The Dolphins will visit Heinz Field in the AFC Wild Card round next weekend.

Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday, January 8th at 1 p.m. Eastern. CBS will have the broadcast.

Everything went wrong for the Steelers in October, when they were beaten by Miami 30-15. Jay Ajayi rushed for over 200 yards in the rain, and Ben Roethlisberger was forced to leave the contest due to injury.

Now it’s the Dolphins dealing with QB injuries, as they will be without Ryan Tannehill for their first postseason appearance since 2008. They will have to rely heavily on Ajayi, who finished the season with over 1,200 yards. Matt Moore will make his playoff debut for Miami, after going 2-1 in three regular season starts.

The Steelers offense was contained in the previous meeting, but Le’Veon Bell will still be the man the Dolphins need to stop. Bell has been effective as both a rusher and receiver this year, opening up space deep for Roethlisberger’s vertical passing game.
