After an absence from the X Games last year, snowboarding legend Shaun White is back in Aspen and looking to stand atop the podium once again.
White missed the 2016 event due to a “lover’s quarrel” with X Games organizers, as he told The Denver Post.
He will be competing alongside Danny Davis, who won the gold medal in 2014 and 2015, Olympic gold medalist Iouri ‘iPod’ Podladtchikov, who defeated White for gold in the 2014 Sochi Olympics, among many others.
The X Games begin January 26 and finish up January 29. One of the biggest highlights from the first day is the SuperPipe Final, as White looks to compete for gold with the competitive field.
