Tom Brady Sr. Claimed Roger Goodell Went on a "Witch Hunt"
While Tom Brady has not been publicly critical of Roger Goodell after his suspension, it has not stopped his father from being critical. Tom Brady Sr. spoke with KRON during Super Bowl week about his son's suspension. “[Goodell] went on a witch hunt and went in way over his head and had to lie his way out in numerous ways and the reality is that Tommy never got suspended for deflating footballs. He got suspended because the court said that he could, Roger Goodell could do anything he wanted to do to any player for any reason whatsoever. That’s what happened. The NFL admitted they had no evidence on him," Brady Sr. told KRON (via Boston Herald). Brady was suspended for four games for Deflategate, but the Patriots managed to go 3-1 in the process. Heading into the Super Bowl, the Patriots only lost one game (Seahawks) with Brady in the lineup. (Twitter/@FSIWH)
