NBA Mock Draft 2018: Early Projections for Top 10 Picks

1. Michael Porter, SF/PF, Missouri

Age: 18 (June 29, 1998)

Size: 6-foot-10, 214 pounds

It's been an eventful couple of weeks for Porter, who flipped his commitment from current home-town college Washington to former home-town college Missouri when UW head coach (and long-time Porter family friend) Lorenzo Romar was fired. Alas, no matter where he goes to school, Porter Jr. has the tools to dominate at the next two levels.

Considering his age and size (6-foot-10 with a 7-foot-1 wingspan and 9-foot standing reach), he has a rare offensive skill set. He already has range on his jump-shot that extends to the NBA three-point line, while he has the ball-handling and fluidity to score off the bounce or in the open-court.

Porter, who won Gatorade National Player of the Year playing for Brandon Roy at Nathan Hale High School in Seattle, is considered by some good enough--and polished enough--to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 draft. He's going to be a problem for college players next year. (Twitter/Rivals)
