WrestleMania 33 is now just days away. At the biggest WWE show of the year, every single championship title in the company will be defended with the exception of the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. So what are the current betting odds, and who are the people who are expected to walk out victorious?
The sports betting website Bovada has put together the latest betting odds for WrestleMania 33. Based on these odds, the night should end with at least six new champions walking out of Orlando, Florida.
Here’s a look at the current betting odds for WrestleMania 33.
WWE Championship: Randy Orton Favored to Win
Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania will be defending the World Championship against Randy Orton, but he is not currently favored to win.
Bovada shows Randy Orton as the expected winner, with the current odds being Randy Orton -260 and Bray Wyatt +175.
This translates to 5/13 Randy Orton and 7/4 Bray Wyatt.
Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar Favored to Win
With the Universal Championship match, Brock Lesnar is the overwhelming favorite to win.
Brock Lesnar’s current betting odds are -3000, while Bill Goldberg’s are +900.
It has been thought that this will be Goldberg’s final match, but lately, Goldberg has been suggesting in interviews that he would be open to staying with the WWE a bit longer, meaning it would not be totally shocking if Goldberg actually pulls out a win and is given a longer title run than expected.
Raw Women’s Championship: Bayley Favored to Retain
In the Raw Women’s Championship match, Bayley will be defending her title against Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax, and this is one title that is not expected to change hands on April 2nd.
The current odds have Bayley as the favorite at 4/15. The next most likely winner is Sash Banks at 9/2. In third is Charlotte Flair, whose betting odds are 11/2. Finally, the least likely winner is Nia Jax, whose odds are 14/1.
It’s not too surprising to see Bayley at the top here, although some fans are still expecting Charlotte to come away with the victory. If Nia Jax were to win, that would be a huge shock, especially considering that she was added to this match just recently on an episode of Raw.
Smackdown Women’s Championship: Carmella & Naomi Tied For Favorite
In the SmackDown Women’s Championship match, two women are currently tied for the favorite to win.
The current betting odds give Carmella and Naomi an equal shot at the title; their odds are both 11/10. The next most likely is Alexa Bliss, whose odds are 9/1, followed by Becky Lynch, whose odds are 19/2, Mickie James, whose odds are 10/1, and Natalya, whose odds are 15/1.
This match was actually originally scheduled to be on the kickoff show, but was recently moved to the main WrestleMania broadcast.
Naomi winning would certainly make for a feel-good moment, as she is from Orlando, Florida, where the show is being held. But Carmella winning would be even more significant, as Carmella has never before held a WWE title.
United States Championship: Kevin Owens Favored to Win
In this match between former best friends Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens, Owens is favored to win the United States Championship.
Owens’ odds are currently -800 compared to Chris Jercho’s odds of +425.
This is an example where the betting odds are probably a bit affected by behind-the-scenes knowledge, as Jericho is expected to be taking a hiatus from WWE after WrestleMania; his band has a number of tour dates scheduled for May.
Intercontinental Championship: Baron Corbin Favored to Win
In the Intercontinental Championship match, the overwhelming favorite to win is Baron Corbin.
Baron Corbin’s betting odds are -1400, while Dean Ambrose’s are +700.
This would be a major win for Baron Corbin, who just made his debut on the main roster last year and has not yet held a title in the WWE. He did, however, win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32.
Cruiserweight Championship: Neville Favored to Retain
The cruiserweight championship is not a title that is expected to change hands.
Neville is currently the favorite to win this matchup, as his bedding odds are -400. Meanwhile, Austin Aries’ odds are +250.
The Cruiserweight Championship match will be taking place on the kickoff show.
Raw Tag Team Championship: Enzo Amore & Big Cass Favored to Win
When it comes to the Raw Tag Team Championship, it looks like Enzo Amore and Big Cass are in for a huge night.
Enzo and Cass are currently the favorites to win, with betting odds of -250. Meanwhile, the next most likely outcome is that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson retain the championship, as their odds are +200, while the least likely scenario is that Sheamus and Cesaro win, as their odds are +900.
If Enzo Amore and Big Cass win, this will be their first championship in the WWE.
Seth Rollins vs. Triple H: Seth Rollins Favored to Win
Seth Rollins is expected to walk away from his match against The Game victorious.
In this matchup, Seth Rollins’ current betting odds are -600, while Triple H’s odds are +350.
Among most fans and viewers, very few seem to think that Rollins will not be able to take out Triple H at WrestleMania.
Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles: AJ Styles Favored to Win
It would be quite shocking if AJ Styles actually loses to Shane McMahon on Sunday, and right now, The Phenomenal One is the overwhelming favorite.
AJ Styles’ current betting odds are -1000, while Shane McMahon’s are +550.
Shane has a lower chance of winning this match than his did the match with The Undertaker last year; going into WrestleMania 32, Shane’s odds against The Undertaker were +290. Of course, he ended up losing that match.
John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse: John Cena & Nikki Bella Favored to Win
With this mixed tag team match, there is once again an overwhelming favorite, and his name is John Cena…and Nikki Bella.
Cena and Bella’s current betting odds are -1200, while The Miz and Maryse’s are +600.
There are no betting odds at this time over whether Cena will propose to Nikki Bella as has been widely rumored.
The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns: Roman Reigns Favored to Win
In this battle over whose yard the WWE is, The Big Dog is the favorite.
Roman Reigns’ current betting odds are -550, while The Undertaker’s are +325.
Though nothing has been officially announced, it is rumored that this match will be the main event of the show, which would make this the second WrestleMania in a row to end with Roman Reigns emerging victorious.
