Manchester United vs. Manchester City: Time, Channel & Lineup

(Getty)

hester United are dealing with injuries during the final stretch of the season, as they fight for the chance to play in Europe next season.

That’s the motivation behind Thursday’s derby, the third meeting between the teams this year. United trail City by just a point in the league table, but the difference between a fourth and fifth-place finish is massive.

Paul Pogba is a confirmed absence for United with a muscle injury. United are still shuffling after losing Zlatan for the season with a knee injury, but will also be missing Jones and Smalling at the back.

Gabriel Jesus has returned to training for City, but Pep Guardiola is still concerned about his fitness before Thursday’s fixture. David Silva is doubtful, but Sergio Aguero has a chance to return to action. Aguero has eight goals in ten matches against United, but picked up a knock during his team’s FA Cup loss to Arsenal.
