Rumor 1: Roman Reigns Will Beat The Undertaker & This Will Be the Main Event
The first big rumor everyone's talking about going into the show is that Roman Reigns will defeat The Undertaker.
The idea here is that Roman will beat The Undertaker and then go on to feud with Brock Lesnar, and this feud will be sold as a fight between the only two men to ever beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Brock Lesnar, of course, is the man who ended Taker's streak at WrestleMania 30.
All of the betting odds that have come out over the past week show Roman as the favorite to win the match.
The other major rumor is that this is the match that will end the show. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported this week that this match is "almost for sure" going to be the last one on the card.
And in a red carpet interview before the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Roman Reigns said that he isn't nervous because he has main-evented WrestleMania twice before, potentially suggesting that he knows he's main-eventing it this year, too.
So does this mean this is the start of a Roman Reigns heel turn? That's a bit more unclear, but Dave Meltzer recently said on Wrestling Observer Radio that at the very least, if the company ends the show with Roman Reigns defeating The Undertaker, they know that this will get a negative reaction.
"There is obviously a reason that it's going on last," Meltzer said. "...If Roman does win they know the reaction. Believe me. How they play off it, who the f--- knows." (WWE.com)
