WWE ‘Monday Night Raw’ Match Results & Spoilers July 3rd

WWE.com Samoa Joe attacks Brock Lesnar on 'Monday Night Raw.'

A new episode of Monday Night Raw just finished airing on the USA Network. Here’s what happened:

11:05 – After the match ends, Titus O’Neil enters the ring and attacks Braun Strowman. Strowman easily takes him down, though, and then he keeps going after Apollo Crews, finally putting Crews inside the ambulance. He taps on the ambulance ordering it to leave, but it doesn’t…because the driver is Roman Reigns. Reigns ambushes Strowman, and the two brawl. Reigns finally spears Strowman off the stage. Strowman just barely starts to recover when the show ends.

11:00 Braun Strowman defeats Apollo Crews. After a few minutes, Braun Strowman has Apollo Crews down, but he intentionally doesn’t get to the three count so that he can continue hurting Crews. Finally, he pins Crews and scores the victory, but he keeps attacking Crews even after the match ends.

10:54 – Back from commercial, an ambulance backs into the arena. Then Braun Strowman enters (from the stage, not the ambulance) and walks into the ring. Strowman says that there are few things he likes more in this world than hurting Roman Reigns. Strowman also says that if Roman Reigns actually shows up at Great Balls of Fire, he’ll be leaving in the back of an ambulance. Finally, Strowman demands that his competitor for the night come out right now.

Titus O’Neil enters and introduces Apollo Crews as Strowman’s opponent.

10:28 Finn Balor defeats Cesaro. Towards the end of the match, Elias Samson enters and causes a distraction that nearly allows Cesaro to end the match right there. However, the Hardy Boyz, who were sitting in on commentary, come out and start attacking Samson. This erupts into a massive brawl at ringside between Finn Balor, Cesaro, Elias Samson, the Hardy Boyz and Sheamus. Finally, Balor attacks Cesaro, throws him back into the ring, and scores the pin.

10:22 – Backstage, Alexa Bliss insists that she let Sasha Banks win tonight to give her a false sense of security heading into their match at Great Balls of Fire.

10:15 – Bray Wyatt is seen walking through the desert. Then, speaking directly to the camera, he says that he is the chaos that fuels the fire of mankind. He also says that all of the chaos that is happening on Raw right now is because of him, because he is Bray Wyatt and he is everywhere. He also tells Seth Rollins that this Sunday, he will look into the eyes of a god and he will burn.

10:03 Neville defeats Mustafa Ali by submission after he locks in the Rings of Saturn.

9:57 – Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar are both interviewed by Michael Cole. Samoa Joe doesn’t even get Cole get a single question in, because he says he has questions of his own. Joe first starts to address Paul Heyman, but Lesnar says that Joe is facing him, not Heyman. Lesnar calls Samoa Joe a coward, and the two argue back and forth. Samoa Joe finally gets fed up and rips off his microphone, wandering around backstage looking for Lesnar. He finds Lesnar, only for WWE crew members to hold him back.

9:50 – Seth Rollins takes the microphone. He says that every time he’s looking for a fight, Bray Wyatt is nowhere to be found. He also says that this Sunday, he’s going to prove once and for all that Wyatt is not a god.

9:47 Seth Rollins defeats Curt Hawkins in a match that lasts less than 30 seconds.

9:43 – Backstage, Cesaro and Sheamus approach Kurt Angle in his office. He says that he’s going to make their match against The Hardy Boyz at Great Balls of Fire a 30-minute Iron Man match. He also grants Cesaro’s wish to face Finn Balor tonight.

9:39 – Goldust debuts his film, The Shattered Truth. It’s just video of Goldust beating up R. Truth set to “Ode to Joy” and that’s it. After the video finishes playing, R. Truth ambushes Goldust, and Goldust retreats.

9:35 – Backstage, Titus O’Neil approaches Apollo Crews and says that Crews should face Braun Strowman tonight.

9:12  The Miz defeats Heath Slater and retains the Intercontinental Championship. This match is currently ongoing. Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas watch the match at ringside, and at one point, The Miz catches his breath by hiding behind them. Later, Heath Slater is distracted when Rhyno brawls with Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas at ringside, and this allows Miz to score the victory.

8:57 – The Miz hosts an episode of Miz TV with Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas. Addressing last week’s segment, Miz says that the Ball family is overrated, and he says that Lonzo Ball will be the biggest bust in NBA history. Miz also says that LaVar Ball embarrassed himself, and he transitions into talking about Dean Ambrose, saying that Ambrose represents wasted potential. Ambrose was supposed to be the breakout star of The Shield, but instead we got a wacky lunatic.

Dean Ambrose enters. Ambrose sarcastically says that The Miz is right about him. He also says that he wants his rematch for the Intercontinental Championship tonight. As Ambrose starts walking down to the ring, Heath Slater and Rhyno enter. Slater says that he was the last man to beat The Miz in the ring, and so he wants a title opportunity. Ambrose tells Slater to get to the back of the line. The Miz says that neither of them are getting title matches tonight because he has a Fourth of July party to go to tonight.

Kurt Angle enters. Angle says that he’s the one who gets to decide when matches take place. He decides that The Miz will face Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship on Sunday, and The Miz will face Heath Slater for the title next.

8:49 Cedric Alexander defeats Noam Dar.

8:48 – Cedric Alexander says that the nonsense between himself, Noam Dar and Alicia Fox is over. Just then, Noam Dar comes out for a match, accompanied by Alicia Fox.

8:32 – Braun Strowman approaches Kurt Angle. He wants a match with someone, but Kurt Angle doesn’t think anyone will want to face him. Strowman tells Angle to figure something out.

8:14 Sasha Banks and Bayley defeat Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss. At one point during the match, Nia Jax throws Bayley into the barricade, and she is “injured,” forcing her to be carried out of the arena; the match then becomes two-on-one. Eventually, Sasha Banks makes Alexa Bliss tap out with the Banks Statement.

8:13 – In a backstage interview, Big Cass responds by saying that he never heard anyone talk so long about nothing. He also says that he, not Enzo Amore, is the star here. As Big Cass is trash talking Enzo, Enzo runs in and attacks him.

8:03 – Enzo Amore enters. He says that over this past year, he’s been attacked and disrespected constantly, but the audience had his back. Big Cass, however, never had his back, and he was always looking ahead, Enzo says. He also says that he is one of the toughest guys to step into the ring in a long time, and he’s going straight to the top. “You are nothing more than a seven foot catchphrase that I wrote,” Enzo tells Big Cass. Enzo concludes by saying that he and Big Cass were brothers, but Cass killed this part of him.

8:00 – The show opens with a recap of the Enzo Amore/Big Cass breakup storyline.
