PGA Championship Live Stream: How to Watch Online Without Cable

PGA Championship Live Stream, Free, Without Cable, TNT Streaming, CBS All Access Free Trial

Looking to watch a live stream of the 2017 PGA Championship? There are a couple of different options, even if you don’t have a cable subscription.

On Thursday and Friday, coverage in the United States will be exclusively on TNT, starting at 1 p.m. ET on both days. On Saturday and Sunday, coverage will start on TNT at 11 a.m. ET and move to CBS at 2 p.m. ET.

For the CBS broadcasts, your best and easiest option will be CBS All Access, which allows viewers in most markets to watch a live stream of CBS for $5.99 per month and comes with a free trial.

If you’re looking to watch the TNT broadcasts and don’t have a cable log-in, you can watch via an over-the-top streaming service, which provides access to an entire package of channels for a monthly fee.

And with the steady rise of these services, cable-cutters have plenty of different options to choose from: Sling TV is the cheapest option, while DirecTV Now and PlayStation Vue also offer different pros and cons. All of them also come with a free trial, so it’s easy to watch the PGA Championship at no cost.

Here’s a rundown of what these live streaming services provide, and how to sign up to start watching the year’s final major:

CBS All Access

For viewers looking to watch the weekend CBS coverage, CBS All Access allows you to watch a live stream of your local CBS channel, as well as providing access to on-demand content and and exclusive originals, for $5.99 per month.

Here’s a rundown of how to start a free trial and start watching CBS:

1. Click here to go to the CBS All Access website

2. Click on “Try It Free” and then create an account

3. Select the subscription type you want (“Limited Commercials” is $5.99 per month and “Commercial Free” is $9.99 per month) and enter your payment information. If you cancel your subscription before the trial period ends (one week for “Limited Commercials” or two days for “Commercial Free”), you will not be charged

4. Return to the CBS All Access website to start watching live CBS. You can also watch on a streaming device via the CBS app, but note that you can not watch NFL games via CBS All Access on mobile phones

Cheapest Option for TNT: Sling TV

If price is your No. 1 concern when choosing an over-the-top streaming service, there’s no question that Sling TV is the way to go. TNT is included in the “Sling Orange” bundle, which is by far the lowest price point at $20 per month.

Here’s a complete rundown of “Sling Orange”:

Total Channels Included: 25-plus, depending on local channels available. You can find the complete channel list right here

Price: $20 per month

Extras: Watch on one device at once (“Sling Blue,” which costs $25 per month and also includes TNT, allows you to watch on three devices at once); 50 hours of cloud DVR is $5 per month extra (restrictions with certain channels)

Free Trial: 7 days

How to Sign Up & Watch:

1. Click here to go to the Sling TV website

2. Click on “Watch Now 7 Days Free” and then create an account

3. Select the channel package you want. Both base bundles include TNT

4. Enter your payment information. The “Sling Orange” package is $20 per month, while “Sling Blue” is $25. If you cancel your subscription within seven days of signing up, you will not be charged

5. Download the Sling app on your computer or mobile device and begin watching TV. If you’re interested in watching Sling TV on a mobile or streaming device, you can do so via their app, which is free to download. You can click here for a full list of compatible devices

Most Channels + Roku Deal: DirecTV Now

DirecTV Now’s cheapest bundle comes in at $35, but if you’re willing to pay a little extra, there are some big advantages.

First, you’re getting a channel package that is likely similar to what you would be getting with regular cable, as even its smallest package, “Live a Little,” provides access to more than 60 total channels. Second, they are offering a Roku Premiere Streaming Media Player ($69.95 value) if you prepay two months.

The biggest drawback is a lack of DVR, but that’s coming soon, so there’s a lot to like here.

Here’s a complete rundown of DirecTV Now’s “Live a Little” package:

Total Channels Included: 60-plus, depending on local channels available. You can find the complete channel list right here

Price: $35 per month

Extras: Watch on two different devices at the same time; DVR is in Beta stage; free Roku Premiere Streaming Media Player if you prepay two months

Free Trial: 7 days

How to Sign Up & Watch:

1. Click here to go to the DirecTV Now website

2. Click on “Start your free trial now” and then create an account

3. Select the channel package you want. All packages include TNT. You can add the Roku on the next step if you want

4. Enter your payment information. The “Live a Little” package is cheapest at $35 per month, while there are other options for $50, $60 or $70. If you cancel your subscription within seven days of signing up, you will not be charged

5. Return to the DirecTV Now website to start watching on your desktop. You can also watch via the DirecTV Now, which is available via a handful of different mobile or streaming devices. You can click here for the complete list of compatible devices

Most Streams At Once: PlayStation Vue

PlayStation Vue is somewhere in the middle on the price vs. quantity of channels spectrum, as its cheapest package with TNT (“Access” at $39.99 per month) is more expensive than Sling TV and DirecTV Now, but it doesn’t have as many channels as DirecTV Now’s cheapest bundle

Still, it does have some compelling advantages, as DVR is included, users can watch on five separate devices at once (which is more than any other service), and CBS is available in select markets.

Here’s a look at the “Access” bundle:

Total Channels Included: 45-plus, depending on local channels available. You can find the complete channel list here

Price: $39.99

Extras: Watch on five different devices at once; cloud DVR (restrictions with certain channels)

Free Trial: 5 days

How to Sign Up & Watch:

1. Click here to go to the PlayStation Vue website

2. Click on “Start Free Trial” and then create an account

3. Select the channel package you want. There are four different options. All of them include TNT
