Rashad Evans Tops Official UFC 108 Payroll

Former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans earned an event-high $375,000 to top the official fighter payroll for the injury-ravaged UFC 108 card.

The total payroll for the event came to just $843,000, making UFC 108 one of the cheapest pay per view cards, at least in terms of fighter salaries, in recent memory. After Evans, the highest-paid fighter on the card was heavyweight slugger Junior dos Santos, who earned $60,000 for knocking out UFC newcomer Gilbert Yvel in the opening bout of the televised card.
