The Ultimate Fighter Live Finale: Fight Night Bonuses Come In At $40,000 Each

Michael Chiesa (Josh Hedges/UFC)

Lawrence, three others earn Fight Night bonuses of $40K

The UFC dished out $40,000 fight night bonuses for the competitors of ‘The Ultimate Fighter: Live Finale” that went above and beyond.

The “Knockout of the Night” went to Justin Lawrence for his highlight reel head kick knockout against John Cofer in the first bout of the main card, while Martin Kampmann also earned a “Knockout of the Night” bonus with his main event technical knockout to derail the Jake Ellenberger hype train.

“Submission of the Night” was given to Mike Chiesa for his rear naked choke submission victory against Al Iaquinta. The choke not only put Iaquinta to sleep, but also lead to Chiesa being crowned the winner of “The Ultimate Fighter: Live.”

The final fight night bonus, “Fight of the Night,” was given to the aforementioned Lawrence and Cofer, who had a highly competitive fight up until Lawrence’s vicious knockout. That means Lawrence walked away from the event with $80,000 in bonuses, not including his salary for the event, or his win bonus.

“The Ultimate Fighter: Live Finale” took place at the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 1, featuring Kampmann’s technical knockout win over Ellenberger. The card also featured all competitors from the latest season of “TUF,” except for those physically unable to compete due to the grueling schedule.
