Ohio State vs Yale Preview
Ohio State and Yale will clash for a spot in the national title game.
The OSU Buckeyes come into the Frozen Four with an eight-game winning streak. That streak almost ended in the NCAA tournament quarterfinals when the Buckeyes squeaked past Quinnipiac 4-3 in two overtimes on March 12.
It marked OSU’s second-straight overtime game. The Buckeyes beat the Minnesota Golden Gophers 3-2 in overtime for the WCHA championship on March 6.
Yale also has been playing extra periods of hockey lately. The Bulldogs beat Colgate 2-1 in overtime for the NCAA quarterfinals on March 12. Colgate beat Yale in their previous matchup, 2-1 in overtime for the Hockey East championship on March 5.
