Sony Announces Jelly Bean Android 4.1 for the Xperia P, Xperia go, and Xperia E dual

Sony started sending out updates to the Sony Xperia P, the Sony Xperia go, and the Sony Xperia E dual to bring the up to date on Android 4.1. The updates will be over-the-air except the Xperia go, which will need to be connected to Bridge for Mac or to a PC Companion.

Sony’s update includes a new launcher with new widgets, newer version to the Walkman, Album, and movies app, improvements to the app drawer, and a new battery STAMINA mode.

Some will have to wait longer than others to get the update, but Sony is doing what they can to speed up the process.

Sony also promised Android 4.1 updates for the Xperia SL, Xperia S, Xperia Ion and Xperia Acro S, which will arrive at the end of May.

Seems like Sony is doing what they can to keep their fans happy and up-to-date on the latest software.
