According to Gizmodo, Time Warner Cable is set to offer HBO in a new reasonably priced cable plan at $30 for the first year.
If you’re the type who hates having many channels they don’t want (but still pay for), this is a great deal.
Perhaps one day you will we be able to pick and choose whichever channels you like, perhaps at a rate of several dollars a channel, but that day is not today. Still, this is a step in the right direction, particularly for the HBO-addicted.
