Despite Taylor Swift’s best efforts, Apple Music will be released tomorrow at 11 AM ETC, so you can start browsing artist profiles and pulling in your own music as soon as you download the app. You’ll have access to Connect, where artists can post behind the scenes videos and blog posts that are only available on the app.
An hour later, the radio function will be up and running. It will work sort of like Pandora, so you can plug in an artist or emotion and the app will create a custom station.
Come Tuesday morning, you’ll have to first update your iOS to 8.4, and your red Music icon will turn white. You are now ready to use Apple Music. The service is free for three months then will run you $9.99 a month.
