Did Justin Bieber use social media to flirt his way into a new relationship?

On July 21, he started an exchange with model Danielle Knudson, sparking relationship rumors.

The possible new coupling was reported on the same week as Selena Gomez debuted her fling of the moment, with Italian businessman Tommy Chiabra.

So, for now, it’s too soon to tell if this move by Bieber is solely to get Selena jealous or a true romance for the singer.

1. Bieber Flirted With Her on Instagram

Bieber posted an Instagram photo of her from a modeling shoot. The caption was, “Who is this Guess Model. She’s Stunning.”

Knudson, pronounced “Ka-news-din,” reposted it on her page, shown above, writing, “Thanks for the shout out my fellow Canadian.”

Then these tweets happened:

A friend of the pair told the Daily News, “Justin and Danielle happen to have a few mutual friends, and about four people passed her number on to Justin the same day that he posted it.”

The starlet realized that she followed in some pretty famous footsteps. “It’s crazy to be shooting something that Claudia Schiffer, Kate Upton, all these girls have done,” she told ET Canada.
