Britney Spears’ time in Vegas is going well, but what’s going even better is her love life. Spears has confirmed to Extra that she has a new man – writer and producer Charlie Ebersol. In the above video, listen to Spears talk about her new man to … Pauly D? The description of the video reads:
Britney Spears is officially back off the market! “Yes, there is a special someone” she exclusively told “Extra” special correspondent Pauly D at a special celebration at The LINQ Promenade in Las Vegas, where she received a key to the city, and November 5 was declared “Britney Day.”
In insider dished about Spears’ relationship with Ebersol to Daily Mail, stating:
They are both very happy and having fun. It’s just the beginning so no idea if it will become serious but right now they are having a lot of fun together.

1. He Was Involved In a Devastating Plane Crash That Killed His Brother Teddy

When their small plane crashed just after take off, Charlie, who was a senior at Notre Dame at the time, was able to escape the fiery wreckage and managed to save his father as well. But, Charlie’s brother Teddy was not as lucky. He was thrown from the plane, which ended up landing on him. Upon the death of Teddy, the Ebersol family released this statement:
We will miss Teddy, our sweet boy, forever. His wonderful spirit will live on in our family … While our grief is unfathomable, we are so proud of our Charlie … and all of us will forever be inspired by Charlie’s courage and bravery.
People magazine had reported on the incident when it occurred in 2004, writing:
According to witnesses the aircraft, a CL-601 Challenger jet, with the Ebersols and three crew members aboard, taxied at 9:59 a.m. at Montrose Regional Airport in wet snow and 50 yards’ visibility. Taking off, the plane barely got aloft. Seconds later it slammed down at the end of the small, 7,500-ft. runway, crashing through a fence and skidding another quarter mile onto a neighboring dairy-cow farm.
An eyewitness stated:
I saw this kid [Charlie] waving his arms. He was screaming to me, ‘My brother was in the plane! He’s in the fourth row. Please help me get him out.’ Thrown clear of the plane, Charlie had already rushed back inside and pulled his father to safety. His dad was sitting on the ground behind him, and he was just rocking. I could tell he was in shock. His clothes were all shredded. Both he and Charlie were ripped out of their shoes.
In June 2006, Teddy Ebersol Field was dedicated along the Charles River in Boston, Massachusetts. Charlie has another brother named Willie.

Dick Ebersol is the founder of Saturday Night Live and is a famous former NBC Sports Chief. In 1974, Dick joined NBC as the Director of Weekend Late Night Programming and a year later he and Lorne Michaels developed SNL.

5. Spears Dumped Ex Dave Lucado in August After It Was Discovered He Cheated on Her
In August, a video was being shopped around of Spears’ now ex-boyfriend Dave Lucado, cheating on her with another woman. When word of this broke, it was reported that Spears’ father actually purchased the video so that it would never hit the public. Spears new man doesn’t seem to have that same kind of track record. The two seem extremely happy together, according to a source. The insider tells E!:
