Taylor John Williams performed a ballad as his first song on tonight’s episode of The Voice. He sang simply with his guitar and a piano accompaniment, appearing on a black set in a burgundy suit. Tonight was one of the first times we’ve seen the singer without his signature “Amish-like” hat. Shelton said he’d never heard so much strength and range in Taylor’s voice before and Pharrell said that he loves Taylor’s creativity in his performances.
For Taylor’s second performance, he took on Taylor Swift’s latest single “Blank Space” and it was a fantastic performance. Taylor made the song his own as always and the coaches loved it. Check out the second performance video below.
