Gamers…prepare to be floored.
The plot behind Pixels sounds amazing – NASA sends out a space shuttle in hopes of contacting alien life forms. This peace offering gets misconstrued when the extraterrestrials that find it take notice of our video games from the 80’s to inspire their acts of war. Earth then gets invaded by gaming icons, such as Donkey Kong and Pac-Man. Earth’s chosen defenders include…Adam Sandler and Peter Dinklage? Yep. Not only does this sound incredible, it looks fascinating. Check out the 1st official trailer for this old school gaming infused film in the video above.
Pixels will be stomping and chomping its way into theaters on July 24, 2015.
