On tonight’s episode of The Voice, it was down to the top 5 performers – Koryn Hawthorne, Sawyer Fredericks, Joshua Davis, Meghan Linsey and India Carney. Unfortunately, one singer had to be sent home, with the top 4 contestants moving on to the semi-finals. The night was filled with performances from musicians including Pharrell Williams, Walk The Moon and Snoop Dogg, but the real focus was on the contestants. The first singer announced as safe was Sawyer Fredericks from Team Pharrell Williams and the second was Meghan Linsey from Team Blake Shelton. The last safe performer was Joshua Davis from Team Adam Levine, which meant that India Carney from Team Christina Aguilera and Koryn Hawthorne from Team Pharrell were in jeopardy. Each girl sang for the “instant save” from viewers and, with it being so close to the semi-finals, emotions were running high.
In the end, the contestant who was eliminated was … India Carney.
