Let’s give ’em something to talk about. Or at least try to.
In tonight’s episode of Extant, called “Cracking the Code,” Molly (Halle Berry) stumbles upon a bombshell discovery, discovering that aliens have found a way to communicate with the human race through messages planted in DNA. Molly unearths the information while trying to produce a virus that will destroy the alien hybrids. As if that weren’t enough, the relationship between Molly and JD Richter (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) gets a little heated and as the preview shows, the pair find themselves rather close throughout the episode.
It’s been an emotional ride for Molly who, last episode, learned the truth about her son, Ahud (Henderson Wade) and how, while she thought he was dead, he was actually in transition, turning from a child to a teenager in just seconds.
Extant‘s latest episode is schedule for Wednesday night at 9 p.m. on CBS.Variety reported that CBS moved the show to an earlier time slot due to its low ratings, taking over the time previously occupied by Criminal Minds.
