On the night of June 6, the fashion stars aligned in New York City at the Hammerstein Ballroom for the annual CFDA Fashion Awards. The event honors outstanding contributions made to American fashion by all different types of artists, from designers to models to singers. The event attracted icons like Lena Dunham, Jason Wu, Kenneth Cole, Karlie Kloss, America Ferrera, Emily Ratajkowski, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Anna Wintour.
The evening consisted of award presentations and musical performances. Beyonce made a shocking surprise appearance to accept an award, and Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Hudson performed musical tributes to David Bowie and Prince, respectively.
