Feeling blessed, but realizing others in her town have had a difficult year by losing homes, husbands, and fathers, Elizabeth promises those less fortunate a holiday filled with comfort and joy. Volunteering to chair the Christmas Committee, Elizabeth excitedly prepares for the annual banquet and pageant by ordering food, supplies, costumes, gifts, and a new stove for a needy family. Men fix damaged homes, children make festive decorations, and Hope Valley is in full swing to make this the best Christmas ever."
