Mariah Carey gave an impromptu performance Wednesday night at a Los Angeles Clipper’s game. She attended the game with boyfriend Bryan Tanaka. The couple was sitting in the crowd when her hit single “Fantasy” came on the P.A. system during a break. An employee of the Staples Center handed Mariah a microphone to sing along.

Like the artist she is Mariah performed on the spot, only for a second and then passed the microphone back to the employee.

Maybe Mimi was resting her vocal cords since she had just performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! the same day. It was her fist televised performance since the New Year’s Eve debacle.
