The finale for season 11 of “The Ultimate Fighter” is just over one week away, but the promotion already has a date set for next season’s finale at the end of 2010. The season finale, which will feature two lightweight finalists from the 28-man tournament, is reportedly set for Dec. 4 at the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The news was reported by MMAjunkie.com earlier today after learning about the venue and date from sources close to the reality series.
“The Ultimate Fighter 12” features coaches hailing from the UFC welterweight division. Welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre leads his team into the Ultimate Fighter house opposite 170-pound top contender Josh Koscheck. The newest season is set to debut in September and taping began earlier this week. The season will also lead up to a championship bout between Koscheck and St. Pierre, but no date has been set for the welterweight title bout.
