Welterweight contest added to “UFC on FUEL TV 5”
A welterweight contest between Pascal Krauss and UFC newcomer Gunnar Nelson is set for “UFC on FUEL TV 5” this September.
Nelson announced the contest via Twitter, though Sherdog.com was the first to report the match up.
Nelson enters the promotion with an undefeated record consisting of nine victories and one no contest. All of his wins have come by way of stoppage, including six submissions.
Meanwhile, Krauss looks to break above the .500 mark after going 1-1 in his two UFC contests. He debuted at UFC 122 with a decision win over Mark Scanlon, but would go on to lose to John Hathaway at “UFC on FOX 3” earlier this year.
“UFC on FUEL TV 5” takes place at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England on September 19. A heavyweight main event between Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic has been announced by the promotion.
