Teixeira, Jackson agree to fight

A light heavyweight contest between Glover Teixeira and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson appears to have the green light.

Teixeira and Jackson were originally set to meet this weekend at UFC 153, but Jackson was forced out due to injury. In his place, Fabio Maldonado took a beating at the hands of Teixeira.

Following the fight, Teixeira expressed interest in fighting Jackson. And “Rampage” was quick to reply, hopping on Twitter asking UFC president Dana White to put the fight together.

“Sounds good bro,” White tweeted back.

No date or event has been set for the 205 lb. contest, which is expected to be Jackson’s last after a fallout with the promotion.
