Heavy-handed Munoz finishes Dollaway in the first round
Mark Munoz took little time to put away C.B. Dollaway at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky this evening.
Dollaway was the first to ignite some offense, earning a takedown in the opening moments of the first round. He attempted to move to mount, but, when he could not earn the dominant position, “The Doberman” elected to allow his opponent to stand back up.
The opportunity was just what Munoz needed, as he landed several vicious shots in a brief exchange that sent Dollaway to the floor. “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” followed up with two hammerfists to his downed opponent, forcing referee Mario Yamasaki to step in and stop the fight. It may have been a bit premature, but the damage had been done, and Munoz walked away with his second consecutive victory.
