Roger Goodell’s press conference Friday afternoon went from awkward to flat-out bizarre when a writer from the Howard Stern show started screaming “don’t take me to an elevator!” as Goodell was answering a question about his lack of severe punishment of Ray Rice.
The writer, Benjy Bronk, has been known to crash press conferences in the past.
“What are you doing?” Bronk asked. “Don’t let me go in an elevator! Don’t take me to an elevator! Please. Don’t take me to an elevator!”
It’s not clear who the man was or what he was doing in the room.
