Kansas State likely needs a miracle to get back into the College Football Playoff mix. But at 7-2 and ranked 12th in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, the Wildcats stand a chance to at least make it to a prominent New Year’s Day bowl game if they win out.

One of K State’s biggest challenges comes Thursday night, when Jake Waters and Co. travel to Morgantown to take on West Virginia.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Eastern time, with TV coverage on Fox Sports 1.
