Julian Edelman is one tough dude. The Patriots slot receiver worked his way up the roster from special teams specialist, and still serves as the team’s alternate punt returner.

Sometimes a picture says more than anything.

Edelman caught the Patriots’ first touchdown Sunday night, on a 12-yard slant from Brady. He didn’t appear injured on the field, but showed off his disfigurement once he got to the sidelines.

Color commentator Chris Collinsworth remarked that the pinky is the “best” finger to injure, because it can easily be taped and stabilized to the ring finger.

Edelman didn’t do that. He just kept playing.
