Swissted.com is an ongoing project by NYC graphic designer Mike Joyce. Combining love of punk rock and Swiss modernism, which have nothing to do with one another, he redesigns vintage punk, hardcore and indie show flyers into typographic posters. Each is sized to the standard Swiss kiosk dimensions of 35.5 inches wide by 50 inches high and set in Berthold Akzidenz Grotesk. All of these shows happened.

Did you know that the original version of Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie” featured Glenn Danzig, not Wyclef Jean? Apparently the label made her redo the song to appeal to the urban audience, but I have to say the original (above) is far superior.
